About Us

The Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Rehabilitation Science is intended to lead to the attainment of the academic title of Master’s or Doctor’s degree offered jointly by State University of Londrina (UEL) and University Pitágoras Unopar (UNOPAR).

 

Goals

  • To promote the human resources qualification, particularly researchers and professors, so that they are able to disseminate their knowledge and scientific experiments and contribute to the teaching and scientific training of other researchers and professors, especially in the southern region of the country;
  • To generate scientific knowledge of quality, to be disseminated and applied in modification or improvement of clinical practice;
  • To encourage the scientific production of involved departments and centers, as well as encourage the exchange among themselves and with other institutions of higher education;
  • To promote the internationalization of productions and activities undertaken by the involved program and centers, as well as the dissemination of knowledge among the different countries participating the program for better globalization of information.

Research Topics

Research Topic 1: Processes of assessment and intervention associated with respiratory and cardiovascular systems: Investigate the methods and resources used in assessment and physiotherapeutic intervention related to the respiratory and cardiovascular systems in individuals with or without organic dysfunctions.

Research Topic 2: Processes of assessment and intervention associated with the neuromusculoskeletal system: Investigate the methods and resources used in assessment and physiotherapeutic intervention related to the neuromusculoskeletal systems in individuals with or without organic dysfunctions.

Research Topic 3: Functional and biological aspects associated with human performance and health promotion: Study aspects related to human performance and the health promotion in its broadest sense (assessment, prevention and intervention), using strategies for functional and biological research.
